We previously notified you of tree felling and vegetation management works taking place between Monday 5th October 2026 and Sunday 11th October 2026 at two locations in Phibsborough:
Location 1: The area adjacent to Phibsborough Library
Location 2: The entrance area to Blessington Street Basin on the North Circular Road
We now wish to advise that works at location 2 need to be extended to also take place between Monday, 12 October 2026 and Friday, 16 October 2026. Working hours will be between 7.30am and 11.00pm, Monday to Friday.
To facilitate these works safely, the entrance to Blessington Street Basin from the North Circular Road will be closed to pedestrians from 8.00am on Monday, 12 October until 7.00pm Friday, 16 October 2026, and access through this entrance will not be possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding while these essential works are carried out.
We will continue to proactively communicate clear details to the local community and relevant stakeholders in the area. We regret any inconvenience these essential works may cause.
