BusConnects is a transformative city-shaping initiative designed to make bus journeys more reliable and efficient, while also delivering major improvements to cycling and pedestrian infrastructure across the Greater Dublin Area. GRAHAM Construction are working on behalf of the NTA to deliver the Ballymun/Finglas to City Centre Core Bus Corridor Scheme.
Further to our recent construction update document uploaded last week, site investigation works taking place on the Royal Canal towpath have been extended until Wednesday 12th August at 3pm. Please note, the Royal Canal towpath will continue to be temporarily closed to accommodate these essential works. The closure is on the east side of Cross Guns Bridge with the northern towpath closed to lock 3. Traffic management operatives will be in place to minimise any disruption, provide diversion routes, and maintain safety for all road users.
We will continue to proactively communicate details of the project to the local community and to relevant stakeholders in the area during the construction of the Ballymun/Finglas to City Centre Scheme.
