In May 2026 we communicated with you regarding the temporary construction of a compound within the parklands at Claremont Lawns, to support the delivery of the Ballymun/Finglas to City Centre Core Bus Corridor Scheme.
Additional space is required to support the efficient delivery of the construction works associated with the scheme. As a result, the construction compound will be extended beyond its current footprint as shown in the map below.
Works to increase the compound area are expected to commence on 28 September 2026 and will take approximately six weeks to complete. These works are essential to ensure the compound can adequately accommodate the facilities, storage, and operational requirements needed to deliver the project safely and effectively.
Once the extension works are complete, the compound will operate as a temporary construction
facility for the duration of the project, which is currently scheduled for completion by the end of
2028. We appreciate residents’ patience and understanding while these necessary works are
carried out. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption during the compound extension
works.
