Site investigation works are currently underway for the Ballymun/Finglas to City Centre Core Bus Corridor Scheme. These investigations are ongoing and are required to inform the detailed design of the proposed scheme.
This pre-construction phase will also involve the establishment of a temporary construction compound within the parklands at Claremont Lawns.
The compound set‑up is planned to commence from 18 May 2026 and will take approximately eight weeks. Once established, the compound will remain in use for the duration of the project, currently scheduled for completion by the end of 2028.
The location of this compound has been approved as part of the Planning Approval from An Coimisiún Pleanála for the Ballymun Finglas to City Centre Scheme received in March 2024.
